How are Federal agencies addressing this enormous challenge? How can the government be more proactive with cybersecurity postures and approaches? And how can agencies create greater visibility into their IT infrastructures to understand where legacy-related cyber vulnerabilities exist?

Please join the Advanced Technology Academic Research Center and BDNA Corporation for a Federal Executive Briefing on Cybersecurity on March 9 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City. Registration opens at 7 a.m. and the event is free to government.

Rod Turk, Acting CIO and CISO of the U.S. Department of Commerce and Kenneth Bible, Deputy Director/C4 of the U.S. Marine Corps will give Visionary Keynotes that examine the cybersecurity from a DoD and Civilian perspective.

The keynotes will be followed by an all-star panel of Federal cyber experts: Peter Kim, CISO, U.S. Air Force; Col Kevin Seeley, Chief, Infrastructure and Operations Division (J6), Defense Health Agency; David Tillman, Director, Cybersecurity, U.S. Department of Navy; and Christopher Wlaschin, CISO, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The event will conclude with an Interactive Recap where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the key cybersecurity topics and issues that were raised during the keynotes and panel. For more information, visit ATARC.
